Saturday the 5th we were two of the many motorcycle riders who participated in the Toys For Tots anual run.
Our good friends, Rick,Jody,Cameron and Jon and Ivan were amongst the riders as well.
The weather was a bit nippy, 35 degrees by time the ride started, warming up from the 19 degrees it was earlier.
The ride began in Echo, and the final destination was Hermiston.
We were led out of Echo by a police escort, and the line of bikes were an awesome sight as we ventured toward Hermiston, There were about 80 bikes, and more than 100 riders,
As we drove through Hermiston, we were privilaged enough to not to have to stop for red lights.
After we arrived at the Good Sheperd Hospital, everyone parked and deposited their toys into a bin, then the director of the hospital, thanked us and let us know there were coffee or hot chocolate and donuts awaiting us inside. We also all posed for a picture.
What a great feeling it was to be a part of something that i had heard of for many years. Mkaes you feel real good. And the gathering of all kinds of bikers and bikes was an awesome, awesome sight. We definitly will be a part of it again , for ever how long we can still climb aboard our bike.

Dinner at Jody's

Jody told me yesterday that she would fix me dinner and have coffee on when I got off of work.
So when I got to her house, she did have coffee on and was baking chicken in the oven.
She also made au gratin potatoes, the chicken was very tender.
How nice it was for her to do this for me after a long hard day at work.
Now i know what it is like to have a wife!!!
